A woodblock-printed book of ink and color on paper displays two open pages in a horizontal spread. Dense columns of black script flow vertically down the aged, cream-colored pages in a fluid, cursive style. Smaller blocks of text are arranged in rows along the bottom edge. Light brown staining marks the textured paper, and the stacked edges of the volume's pages are visible on our right.
