An open woodblock book displays vertical columns of black-inked calligraphy on aged, cream paper. Loopy characters streak down both pages in fluid, undulating strokes, the ink density varying across the columns. Below the primary text, smaller blocks of script are organized in a structured row across the bottom. The yellowish paper shows subtle creases, emphasizing the rhythmic movement and traditional vertical arrangement of the dense, flowing script across the two-page spread.
