A horizontally oriented woodblock-printed spread features two aged, cream pages inked with vertical columns of flowing black calligraphy. The loopy characters streak down the upper sections, while smaller text lines the bottom edges. Light brown staining and small holes dot the textured paper. On the far right, the stacked edges of many thin pages reveal the book's depth. The dark, brushed ink stands out boldly against the weathered, off-white, open paper volume.
