A vertically oriented two-page spread from a woodblock-printed book features multiple columns of black ink calligraphy on cream paper. Loopy, cursive characters streak down the pages in dense top columns and shorter bottom rows, with smaller script interspersed between lines. Small brown spots punctuate the surface, and a vertical crease marks the center binding. The aged paper shows slight wear along its edges, capturing a sense of traditional movement and history.
