This woodblock-printed book spread features vertical columns of black-inked calligraphy across two cream pages. The loopy, cursive characters streak down the paper, tapering into smaller, spaced-out rows along the bottom. Warm-toned stains speckle the aged paper, which is bound on the far left by a thin blue strip. The fluid script fills the upper two-thirds of the spread with rhythmic, expressive strokes.
