A woodblock-printed book lies open, showcasing vertical columns of black ink calligraphy on cream paper. The flowing script trails down in loopy, undulating lines, with some strokes fading against the warm-toned background. Shorter columns of smaller text ground the bottom of each page. A thin strip of blue cover is visible along the right edge. The rhythmic characters create a sense of movement across the textured horizontal spread.
