Two open book pages feature vertical columns of black-inked calligraphy on cream paper. Fluid, cursive characters streak down the right page, with the ink occasionally fading, while the left page contains more structured, upright characters. In the lower left corner of the right page sits a small, circular red seal. The horizontal composition is finished with a thin blue border visible along the far right edge.
