A gold coin features a central raised cross with three-petaled floral ends inside a double, eight-lobed border. Between the arms of the cross, embossed pairs of lions and crowns repeat. A wide band of raised Latin text in an angular script circles the perimeter. The entire gold surface has a warm, hammered texture that reflects light across the intricate embossed patterns.
