A watercolor and ink drawing on vellum features two concentric, dark red rectangular borders on a vertical page. Centered in the top half, a single gray flower head with pointed petals opens toward the top edge. Faint gray spots and metallic silver and gold markings surround the bloom, while the bottom half of the page remains blank. To our right, the edges of the vellum sheets and a dark book binding are visible.
