A vertically oriented watercolor and ink drawing on cream vellum depicts a single tulip bloom atop a long, green stem. The flower tilts right, its white petals marked with fine red and gray streaks that part to reveal dark stamens. Two thin, reddish-brown rectangular borders frame the specimen, set against faint ghost impressions of other plants. Gilded book edges are visible along the left margin.
