A vertically oriented book page features a botanical watercolor within a double red border. Branching green stems hold dark red, pink, and striped carnations alongside tight green buds, rising from long leaves at the lower left. A solitary yellow flower head is positioned at the lower right. A delicate floral vine pattern runs along the left margin, while the thick, cream-colored edges of the bound volume are visible on our right.
