A vertically oriented watercolor and ink painting on vellum depicts a central pear tree with a curved trunk extending from a grassy mound above reddish soil. The tree's dense green foliage is speckled with teardrop-shaped yellow pears. Two thin red borders enclose the scene. Faint floral outlines appear in the pale background. To the right, the stacked pages of the bound volume are visible, placing the artwork within its original context.
