A vertically oriented cream-colored vellum page features two nested rectangular borders in dark reddish-brown ink. The hand-drawn lines have an irregular quality, following the wrinkles of the parchment. On the right, the gathered edges of several pages and a dark brown spine are visible. The nested rectangles frame the empty center of the page with slightly uneven, angular strokes.
