Vertically oriented watercolor and ink on vellum depicts a central creamy space framed by two concentric red rectangular lines. Faint, shadowy impressions of organic leaves and a circular form appear through the translucent material, suggesting imagery on the reverse side. The outer red line is thicker, providing a rigid geometric border. To the right, the book's layered binding is visible. Small spots of discoloration characterize the aged surface where ghostly, indeterminate forms emerge.
