A vertically oriented page of cream paper features eleven rows of black Persian calligraphy. The loopy characters vary in weight, with thick ink strokes trailing into long, curved horizontal flourishes across the lower half. A narrow rectangular border of red, gold, and blue lines frames the handwritten script. Small decorative ink marks are scattered between the characters, which cover the textured, light tan surface.
