A horizontally long silk damask cloth consists of two deep red fragments joined by a diagonal seam. Rich burgundy threads create a background for a repeating pattern of stylized floral and fruit clusters woven in a lighter red. Narrow, shimmering gold-colored trim lines the top and bottom horizontal edges, while the left and right sides remain frayed. A small white tag rests in the bottom right corner of the patterned textile.
