A horizontally long crescent-shaped cut and voided burgundy velvet fragment with a pattern of voided areas revealing a tan foundation. A straight tan border runs along the top edge. Within the plush red field, the exposed backing forms sweeping curved lines and a central floral motif. The bottom edge is irregular and frayed, while the left end tapers to a jagged point. The deep red pile contrasts against the flat weave.
