A vertically oriented intaglio print in black ink depicts a woman with light skin tone in profile, facing our right. Thick, heavy lines define her head, downward-arcing eye, and straight mouth. Mottled washes of gray and black create dense shadows on her face and an atmospheric background. A small signature is visible in the upper right. The central image is surrounded by a wide, cream-colored margin with a deckled, fraying lower edge.
