A horizontally oriented etching in black ink depicts a weathered wooden gate and fence. A thick post on our left connects to the gate via a chain. The gate features horizontal rails and a diagonal line. To our right, vertical posts follow a grassy slope. Fine lines texture the scene against the light paper, with bare branches reaching up behind the gate. In the bottom margin, handwriting reads "The Little Gate" and "David Little."
