A vertically oriented lithograph in black ink with fine, detailed lines depicts two men under a tree with clustered, textured leaves. A tall man in a top hat points toward a sign on the trunk while a stout man in striped stockings watches. Dense cross-hatching and stippling build shadow and form. In the distance, horses race across a field, while seated figures in the foreground watch with their backs to us.
