A gilded wood fire screen frame features an arched top and vertical side posts resting on four outward-curving legs. Intricate carvings of gold-colored leaves and flowers decorate the structure. At the upper center, a shield-shaped emblem rests among foliage. Carved floral clusters punctuate the vertical posts and the middle of the bottom rail. At the base, the feet curve away from the center, ending in small decorative blocks.
