This drawing was actually used in the filming of Pinocchio, the feature-length animated motion picture cartoon, released in 1940 by R.K.O. Radio Pictures.
A vertically oriented watercolor depicts Pinocchio, a wooden puppet boy with light skin and black hair, standing against a white background. Facing our left with an open mouth and blue eyes, he wears a yellow hat with a blue band and red feather. He wears a blue bow tie, yellow shirt with white collar, and red shorts. Circular joints mark his elbows and knees. White gloves and brown shoes complete his outfit.
