Did You Know?

Orozco contemplated pursuing a career in architecture, agriculture, and engineering before ultimately deciding to become an artist.
A vertically oriented lithograph with heavy, vertical streaking depicts a woman with medium-dark skin tone in profile, facing right. Dense, dark lines define her hair or head covering as it flows over her shoulders. Her prominent nose and parted lips are illuminated by highlights on her forehead and cheek. Thick shading fills the background and a mass in the bottom right, while her eye looks forward with a steady gaze.
