One side of a horizontally oriented tan palm leaf features three rectangular blocks of dense black script arranged in uniform rows. Two small circular holes pierce the material between text sections. Fine characters are inscribed in the left margin and above the center block. The sharp ink contrasts against the muted, weathered surface and irregular edges, emphasizing the organic texture of the leaf and the meticulous, rhythmic layout of the compact, ancient script.
