This horizontally oriented manuscript features three dense blocks of black-inked script on a tan, textured palm leaf. The rectangular text sections are punctuated by two circular holes. Small, vertical inscriptions flank the rounded ends. The compact, uniform characters create a rhythmic, matte pattern across the aged surface. The leaf's natural, weathered edges frame the meticulous, tightly packed lettering which occupies the length of the narrow, fibrous substrate.
