A horizontally oriented tan palm leaf features three rectangular blocks of dense black script. Two circular binding holes puncture the surface between the text. The narrow leaf has irregular, frayed edges and a visible horizontal grain. Small characters are inscribed vertically in the margins and horizontally above the center. A jagged crack splits the far left edge. The entire surface possesses a natural, aged wood-like appearance.
