A horizontally oriented palm leaf folio features three dense sections of black script in gum tempera and ink. Two circular binding holes separate the blocks of text against a warm tan surface with a visible horizontal grain. Tiny ink characters are inscribed in the margins and beneath the central section, while the main script is tightly packed in uniform, rhythmic rows across the weathered, organic material with irregular edges.
