A bulbous ceramic pitcher features a wide, upright neck encircled by subtle vertical panels. Opposite a short, flaring spout, an angular handle with sharp bends and a scroll connects the rim to the midsection. The entire vessel displays a reflective, metallic copper luster. Light catches the rounded body, highlighting a smooth surface marked by fine scratches and dark spots. This lustrous finish gives the earthenware the appearance of polished metal.
