A square silk textile fragment features an all-over pattern of sunflowers in various stages of bloom across a cream background. The flowers, in golden yellow, orange, and deep red with green and blue accents, face forward or turn to the sides. Short, directional lines create a textured, painterly effect within the blossoms. The sunflowers range from tight buds to fully open blossoms. All four edges are frayed and irregular.
