A horizontally long strip of off-white linen bobbin lace is woven with repeating floral motifs against a fine mesh ground. Scrolling leaves and five-petaled flowers are worked in solid thread, contrasting with the open, net-like background. A scalloped border runs along the bottom edge. Scattered brownish stains mark the fabric, which terminates in irregular, fragmented ends on either side.
