A vertically oriented brown linoleum block uses black incised lines to outline a woman cradling an infant. Eyes closed, she tilts her head toward the child as stylized jagged shapes rise behind them. Her hands wrap around the baby's body. Three deep diagonal cuts slash the surface: one from the top left and two forming a V-shape at the bottom, creating sharp, recessed channels that disrupt the central composition.
