This manuscript bifolio in ink, tempera, and gold has Latin script in the lower third and an illuminated Crucifixion in the upper two-thirds on our right. Christ hangs on the cross, flanked by mourners on our left and soldiers on our right. Lush floral borders frame the composition. The left page displays ghosted text and border remnants from the reverse side against the pale cream vellum.
