A horizontally oriented etching in black ink on beige paper overlooks a river toward a city skyline. On the lower left, densely hatched lines define ripples as a person rows a small boat. An arched stone bridge with statues spans the center. Beyond, buildings cluster up a hill, culminating in a massive castle and cathedral with tall, spindly spires against a clouded sky. Cursive script is centered in the bottom margin.
