A horizontally oriented etching and drypoint in monochrome shades depicts a harbor scene beneath a textured, sweeping sky. Fine, sketchy lines define a cluster of tall sailing vessels on the right, while a multi-story building stands to the left. In the foreground, loose strokes create small boats floating across the water. Dense hatching and diagonal marks fill the sky, rendering thick, layered clouds that loom over the masts and distant, smoking chimneys.
