A circular bronze medal depicts a man in profile facing our left. He has a high forehead, short hair, mustache, and trimmed beard. The figure wears a suit jacket, bow tie, and a star-shaped medal on his chest. Raised letters curve along the rim: RAYMOND POINCARE PRESIDENT DE LA REPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE. The warm brown bronze surface has a dark patina. Small text at the bottom right identifies the artist as CH. DESCHAMPS.
