A polished steel gauntlet for a right hand features a flared cuff tapering to the wrist. A dark-painted band studded with silver trims the top edge, while a twisted metal rope borders the hand. Parallel horizontal grooves transition into overlapping scalloped plates, protecting the fingers and an extended thumb. The gray surface is pitted with dark age spots, catching highlights that reveal the metal's heavy form against a neutral gradient background.
