An iron and lacquer helmet is characterized by a high, pointed crown divided by a central vertical ridge ending in a small rectangular block. The dark brown surface displays extensive cracking throughout. Two rounded flaps flare outward from either side, while the base is composed of overlapping horizontal plates. These plates curve around the neck, held in place by dark blue braided cords punctuated by small gold accents.
