A circular bronze medallion features a relief scene with a warm, brownish patina. Centered is a tall cross topped with a soldier's helmet and encircled by a wreath. To our left, two smaller crosses stand against rolling hills, while a gabled building sits to our right. At the bottom, a blank rectangular plaque is framed by leafy laurel branches and small berries, all rendered in crisp, shallow relief.
