A circular bronze medallion depicts two figures in relief. A nude figure sits hunched with their head in their hands, while a draped figure stands behind, resting a hand on their head. To the right is a rectangular block inscribed "PRO PATRIA." Thin lines radiate from the background, like a sunburst. The warm brown metal has a textured, mottled patina that catches the light across its raised surfaces.
