A rectangular bronze sculpture depicts two sides of a medallion. One side features a woman in profile wearing an elaborate winged headpiece with a large central bow. "ALSACIENNE" is embossed at the bottom. The reverse depicts a reclining lion statue atop a rocky formation. Behind it, a low wide building sits under radiating lines of light. The warm brown metal has a textured patina with subtle light and dark highlights throughout.
