A circular bronze medal features a muscular man poised mid-swing, hammer raised above an anvil where a snake coils. Behind him, ships sit on the horizon. Arched text reads, "PRESENTED BY THE AMERICAN CAR AND FOUNDRY COMPANY" above "1917–1918." On the reverse, a draped figure strides against a radiant sunburst, extending a palm branch. Horizontal text reads, "FOR SERVICE FAITHFULLY RENDERED." The relief captures industrial might and flowing, dynamic motion.
