A horizontally long strip of ivory bobbin lace features dense scrolling leaf motifs that emerge from an openwork mesh background. These opaque shapes repeat along the center, while the straight top and bottom edges are finished with a delicate row of tiny loops. Showing signs of age, the textile contains small brown specks and frayed ends that contrast with the fine, intricate craftsmanship of the ivory-colored threads.
