An arched rectangular bronze medal is composed of three vertical panels. The left panel features a relief carving of a man gazing at two soaring birds above the text "LE RÊVE CONCOIT." A blank rectangle forms the center panel. To our right, a relief shows a man operating a machine with large gears above the text "LA SCIENCE RÉALISE." The entire piece has a uniform, warm brown metallic patina.
