The front and back of a bronze medal with a curved top feature low-relief carvings in a warm brown patina. On the front, a winged figure is flanked by a biplane on the left and an airship on the right. On the reverse, a figure watching birds on the left and another operating a machine on the right border a recessed blank center. Light highlights smooth and rough patches across the bronze.
