A circular bronze medal features a patinated, warm golden-brown surface. Centered is a raised shield with a top notch containing the word "TO." Arcing text along the rim reads "AWARDED BY THE" and "CLEVELAND ART ASSOCIATION." A leafy branch curves upward on the left, mirrored by a feathered palm frond on the right. Darkened recesses emphasize the weathered, matte relief, while the stalks cross at the base.
