An S-shaped steel gun-lock hammer features a dark gray, mottled patina with hints of reddish rust. At the top, a cross-hatched projection tapers to a point. The central body is ornately engraved with curving floral patterns, transitioning into a tight curl at the rounded base. A square opening is centered within this curl. Softened, worn edges and a weathered surface suggest extensive age and use.
