A vertically oriented fragment of tan velvet textile features a repeating, symmetrical pattern of raised olive-green pile. Mirrored motifs of stylized lily-like flowers and scrolling leaves unfold in vertical columns across the fabric. One long edge is straight, while the opposite side curves gracefully inward toward the top. The left and bottom edges appear frayed and irregular, marking this piece as a fragment of a larger historical work.
