An irregular textile fragment features dense, muted gold metallic loops over a dark red ground. Swirling, interlacing patterns are defined by thin, dark red lines across the surface. The asymmetrical work shifts between tightly packed metallic areas and a worn, tangled center with protruding yellow silk fibers at the top. Frayed borders and a tapering left side create an organic shape rich in metallic sheen and varying tactile textures.
