A vertically oriented silk textile fragment features a dense pattern of scrolling gold metal thread vines over a dark red ground. Large, pointed tulips and many-petaled blossoms grow from thick stems, accented with small blue and green highlights. While the top and left edges are straight, the bottom and right are jagged and frayed, revealing the woven texture. The shimmering gold pattern creates an ornate, floral design across the crimson silk surface.
