This installation comprises supplies, tools, and debris from Sze’s home and studio. These ordinary materials challenge the perceived barrier between art and the everyday that we inhabit. The industrial ladder at the center of the sculptural composition is scaled to the viewer’s body, issuing a playful (though not literal) invitation to climb into the work of art.
